The Stagg was built at the meeting point of 2 drovers roads and is part medieval, part early Victorian with a bit of the 1970s. Today it is rustic in feel with a small bar housing a collection of 200 pub jugs and some very friendly gossiping locals. There are three dining rooms and many customers choose to eat in the bar itself.
